  19. Soul. Then Tina Turner saw her life descend into the depths of
  20. rock misery. Her violent, volatile marriage to Ike, chronicled
  21. in her autobiography, I, Tina, proved that behind the seductive
  22. sound, life was ugly indeed. Now Tina's moving story is screen
  23. bound. Cast in the role of the sexy, raspy rocker: Malcolm X
  24. star Angela Bassett. "I told Tina that this is the biggest
  25. challenge of my career," says Angela, who has hired a personal
  26. trainer to trim her waistline to Tina-size. The young actress
  27. has also been busy soaking up soul from the leggy legend
  28. herself. "In spite of the whole jungle-lioness persona," says
